CARING CONNECTIONS PROGRAM HOLIDAY GIFT BAGS
SilverSource created its “Caring Connections” program to bring cheer to seniors in need in the holiday season. We assemble and deliver more than 150 holiday bags filled with gifts to make seniors feel warm and cared for, and to bring them joy. Many Stamford seniors do not have family and struggle to afford even basic necessities.
This year, the gift bags will contain a blanket, lovingly hand-knit by Stamford resident Maureen Grosso (pictured here). Each blanket is beautifully unique and will provide warmth and comfort to older adults across the community.
“I am thrilled to be able to provide some comfort and warmth, both figuratively and literally to the seniors of our community,” said Maureen. “They need to know that they are loved and admired.”
You can make a “Caring Connection” to a senior in need by sponsoring a holiday gift bag for just $25.
