The world is facing a crisis as baby boomers age into dementia. The U.S. is no exception with an estimated 16 million unpaid dementia family caregivers facing the challenges of caregiving while trying to keep our dementia loved ones and ourselves afloat emotionally, physically, financially.

”Wine, Women, & Dementia” shines a light on the lives of dementia family caregivers exposing the isolation, financial stress, physical and emotional toll they shoulder in this long, difficult journey. It’s a love letter to the family caregiver; their perseverance, their power to prevail, their courage in the aftermath, and most importantly their determination to celebrate LIFE on the long road to death.

Learn about resources for caregiving, long term services and supports, respite care and community guides.

Following the film and discussion, there will be REFRESHMENTS and a chance to CONNECT WITH OTHER CAREGIVERS, meet SILVERSOURCE SOCIAL WORKERS and community SERVICE PROVIDERS, and learn about available RESOURCES.
