SilverSource is now accepting nominations for its 2025 SilverSource Awards, in several categories including Outstanding Organization or Group, Outstanding Individual and Outstanding Volunteer.
The new deadline for nominations is August 22, 2025.
Awards will now be presented at the agency’s SilverSource Awards & Community Engagement event in the fall of 2025. The awards are given to outstanding individuals and notable organizations who have made exceptional contributions to improve the lives of older adults in lower Fairfield County.
The 2025 SilverSource Awards will recognize outstanding achievements in three areas:
1. The SilverSource Outstanding Organization Award 2. The SilverSource Outstanding Individual Award 3. The SilverSource Outstanding Volunteer Award
The SilverSource Outstanding Organization Award – recognizes a group or organization that provides significant contributions to the community as a place to age.
The SilverSource Outstanding Individual Award – recognizing an exceptional individual who makes a contribution to improving the well-being of older adults.
The SilverSource Outstanding Volunteer Award – recognizing an outstanding volunteer who shares their time and talent to enrich the lives of older adults.
