The Partnership in Elderly Services (PIES) is a professional networking group for senior service providers in lower Fairfield County, created to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services to the aging population. It is a forum for raising issues, addressing community-wide problems, and developing working relationships to enhance the social safety net for older adults.
The PIES network allows providers to coordinate direct services, share knowledge of best practices and exchange information to guide advocacy efforts within the service system and on the state legislative level. SilverSource has taken a leadership role in organizing health and human service providers into this informal collective. The PIES collaborative meets monthly, features speakers who present on a variety of topics and plays a vital role in helping to coordinate and integrate service delivery.
